Any wishlist for 1.1.3?

Any wishlist for 1.1.3?
« on: August 04, 2024, 02:38:37 PM »
It’s a lot of time since the last update. That’s my suggestion for a 1.1.3:

-Dual layer split zone (one oscillator x zone)

-Resonance compensation

-Unison detune

-More features for the sequencer

What’s yours?

Don’t you just use the vintage knob for unison detune?

yes, It'd be nice to have a bit of control on the number of tones though..

To say the truth, I wish they linked some sort of parameter morphing to some knob (as the Moog Muse does): I'd just suggest the Vintage one itself for example..

Number of tones? Do you mean the number of parameters or the number of voices?

There are several parameters mapped to the vintage knob, including tuning, filter frequency and envelope timing stages.

If you mean the number of voices, hold down the “unison” button and use the +/- keys to set the number.

Hi pass filter FX modulated by simple A/D envelope or macros in the FX section, expanded FM range in polymod.

 - Larger Range for PolyMod FM,
 - It's great we can modulate the OSC3 LFO Rate with Main LFO, but the range is way too small, Larger FM range would resolve this too.
 - Being able to send OSC3 LFO to Main LFO Rate Via Polymod would be great too, even by Holding the Polymod Filter button so it flashed to let us know OSC3 LFO or Filter Envelope is being sent to Main LFO Rate.

Sound Matters!

An NRPN to enable modulation of the output level of the white noise generator. (Unless it's possible but not documented? Or maybe it's just not possible!)

/edit - oh, and more reverb options, natch.

I'd like something to "smooth out" the negative Feedback/Drive range - seems like it just goes from 0 to 100 crazy at one point in the range.  Maybe I don't understand it enough, but I'd like it to go crazy a little less suddenly, make more use of the range in between.

With the Trigon, I miss the option of opening and closing the filter with the mod wheel. It looks like this is only possible with aftertouch (I'm used to it the other way round: aftertouch: vibrato, mod wheel: cutoff).

I don't know if this is possible via firmware update, but it's holding me back a bit from buying it at the moment.

Or just buy a little MIDI translator box and convert CC2 to CC74 and feed the translated CC back into the synth.

Thanks for your reply!
Do you have a recommendation for such a MIDI tool box? I don't have any experience in this way.

If you're feeling adventurous, I can definitely recommend one of these...!

The option in the PolyMod section to have the Filter Env control the OSC 3 amount. That is, being able to have swells of FM, or snappy spikes of FM.
