By default, our instruments ship with mirrored Factory and User presets. The Factory banks are permanent, while the User banks can be overwritten. A number of early production TEO-5's were inadvertently loaded with the incorrect User presets. You can easily check by pressing the 'Factory' button to compare the User and Factory sounds - they should be identical when first unboxed.
The corrected User presets can be downloaded directly from the Oberheim Website at the following link:
oberheim.com/supportSimply scroll to the TEO-5 section, tab open the 'Download Sound Banks' section, and follow the instructions for loading the Sysex file.
