OBX8 updated Arpeggiator

Hi, I have 2 questions regarding my OBx8 Desktop:

1. Is there a way to select a bpm for the arp on the OBX8.  Similarly to the OB6 and Prophet 6.

2. How do you choose the arp subdivisions 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 etc. Can’t find the option on page 2?

Hi- X8 and desktop module owner here. On neither unit can an exact BPM be selected. The arpeggiator is commonly unloved because it is (virtually) an exact take on the original Oberheims arpeggiator. There's a good unofficial addendum in this forum that is a short and helpful read I recommend.
As for the subdivisions, here's from Oberheim regarding new firmware v2.0.0.0, global midi clock:

New Feature: Arpeggiator clock sync now has selectable note division values for expanded rhythmic control

Once I learn more about the new arp feature, I’ll update the arp manual. For now, your best bet to have a specified BPM is to sync it via MIDI

Little tip:

The manual addendum states that when you are at Global page 10 "ARP Clock", you can change the clock division by moving the RATE knob in the Mod Box section.

However the addendum neglects to mention that the Mod Box must be in ARP mode (not MOD) for the rate knob to change the the clock division.

They probably expect you to already know this. It’s in the main manual and my arp manual, but even I forget sometimes lol.
