Synth powers up with wrong patch

Greetings fellow Sequential folk!

When I power on my Pro2, it always opens up to a particular patch, rather than the one I had last open before turning the unit off.  (I read something about needing to enter/exit global settings with the desired patch in order for it to power on with it)

I understand that this possibly is as designed.. but is there any way to change this behaviour, so that the Pro2 simply powers on with whatever the last patch that was open?

Possible firmware update?

Just press “globals” twice before powering off each time and it’ll start up with the last-used patch.

It’s designed that way to reduce writes to the flash memory, which preserves  its life.
