Prophet 5 Noise Issue

Hello all,

I've had my Prophet 5 for just under a year now and it's started having a noise issue recently (Attached sample). After I turn it on/off anywhere from 3-10 times, the noise goes away and the sound returns to normal. I'm currently working with Sequential to resolve the issue but have not been able to crack the code as of yet so I thought I'd post here as well.

The issue does not lie on the mainboard. That has been ruled out. When I opened the hood yesterday to remove the panel boards I noticed these strange rings around all of the solder joints (See attached pictures). This can't be normal. Could this be what is causing the issue? What are your thoughts on this?

sorry for your problem. I opened my P10 a couple of times ( just to clean the inside ), but I think I never noticed what you showed in your pics. Did you ask to Sequential what these rings could be?
