Latch vs sustain

I've noticed that latch doesn't sustain midi out notes. Only sustain pedal sustains midi out notes.

Can this be changed via settings?

Is this common expected synth behavior?

I will have to check what my other keyboard synth with latch button does.

For some reason my latch button doesn’t seem to latch the ribbon . It used to work before. Does anyone have this same problem or know how to fix this? Thanks I got it to work now. I read that the button switches sometimes need to be pressed 50 to 100 times and this will solve the problem. I didn’t
Press the button 50 to 100 times. I just pressed it again and the latch button works like it did before.
I read the switches are self cleaning. I hadn’t used the PRO3 for awhile so maybe that was the cause.
