I absolutely love early Zombi, as well as some of Steve Moore's solo stuff. I believe he used a Prophet 5 prominently on the early Zombi stuff, which only added to my love affair with Sequential.

Can anybody recommend anything else that is in the same vein as, say, Surface to Air by Zombi?

When I saw them live he was using a Moog Source and a Prophet 600.

Tangerine Dream – Albums like Phaedra and Rubycon feature similar analog synth-driven soundscapes.
John Carpenter – His soundtracks, especially for movies like Escape from New York and The Thing, offer a blend of analog synths with a retro-futuristic vibe.
Klaus Schulze – His work, particularly albums like Timewind and Moondawn, showcases expansive synth compositions with a spacey feel.

You might enjoy Tangerine Dream's earlier works or Giorgio Moroder's synth-heavy tracks. I really like!!!
