I've been really building myself up to by a 2nd hand Prophet X/XL - leaning towards the XL, but would ideally like to play one first to be sure (mostly for the keybed). Anyone here in London/Surrey have an XL who would allow a budding muso to have a quick play on one (happy to pay for the time!).

Isn’t Anderton’s in Guildford? They may have one you may be able to try maybe?

Andertons have an X in the warehouse, but not an XL (I guess cause they're officially discontinued)

Quite surprised to see your question. Usually each Prophet production batch is limited to ensure the interests of the supplier and the consumer.

I have one in Michigan, with a nice Yamaha aluminium case.
