I would like to copy and then paste a sequence of an individual sound from one beat to another beat?
Mainly to create different synth sequences in part-b to change while part-a plays drums

This is, unfortunately, a pretty basic necessity for a reasonable workflow. Without it, you are basically required to have all your parts ready before you start making beat variations. Might work for some, but for me its a deal breaker.
