velocity problem

I have velocity to the filter on.  Most keys do what they should....press softly and filter remains closed, press hard and it opens up.  But several keys will have the filter all the way open no matter how hard I hit the key.  And which keys do this changes as I play it for a minute.  Any ideas?? Please help!!

update: when I power it down and restart, problem goes away.  But this is an ongoing thing...

Vintage knob can affect how open the filter is. Set it to zero, it might help.
