Prophet 5 Panel OS Update ?

Hi,

Recently I updated my Prophet 5 (Keyboard) provided with 2.0.0 and 1.1.0 to 2.0.1 and 1.1.1
I used my Mac with Sysex Lib.
Everything went well and as described in the instructions regarding the Main OS.
But I’ve a doubt concerning the Panel OS.

For the Panel OS update it says :

"When the Panel OS update is being sent to the Prophet-5/10, two numeric sequences occur on
the main Prophet-5/10 display. The first begins at 000 and counts up to 100.
This is the "loading phase. »
After that, a second, shorter sequence occurs which begins at 10
and counts down to 0. This is the "writing" phase of the update.

DO NOT power down during this phase.
Once the second countdown has completed, the screen will go blank and
then show 'rst'.  DO NOT POWER DOWN until 'rst' is shown. »

As far as I remember, when I did the Panel update, there was only one sequence (the first described).
I was waiting few minutes but nothing else happened. And I didn't see  "rst" written on the display.
I restarted the P5 and checked the OS (Global+1 and Global+2) It shows 2.0.1 and 1.1.1

So apparently it should be good, but I wonder if it’s normal and if the Panel was correctly updated ?

I think I had the same experience many months ago ... But the numbers was right, and so is yours, so no worries (?)
BTW there's a "new" upgrade to download : OS 2.0.4 and Panel 1.1.3

I updated mine with OS 2.0.4 and Panel 1.1.3 - when I did the panel update it also never showed "rst" - so after about 2 minutes I power-cycled me wee P5 and I had 1.1.3 on it - I guess they forgot to program the "finishing message" in there newer OSs and/or never updated their post.

It doesn’t. I think that’s a cut and paste job from a different manual that didn’t get checked. There are a few instances of that in a few manuals.

Yes, I saw that there are new OS 2.0.4 and 1.1.3 
But this new OS seems to be more useful for the Prophet 10.
It doesn't seems to bring as much to the Prophet 5.
Did you notice a huge difference compared to the previous OS 2.0.1 and 1.1.1 ?

Some users mentioned an issue about Aftertouch/velocity with the latest OS

You get filter Q compensation, which is useful.
