One of the most requested updates I know of for the OB-X8 is the ability to edit both upper & lower layers simultaneously when in Double mode. This would be especially useful for filter & envelope changes.
As of now, you have to constantly bounce back & forth between layers just to do simple things like filter sweeps, etc. - quite a drag. Other Sequential instruments can do this (Rev2, for example), so a flagship like the OB-X8 should certainly have this capability ;-)
