OSC split and Keybed questions

I am thinking of buying a Pro 2. I have 2 questions I hope someone could answer...

1. When in OSC split mode how does the character FX work? Will it still apply the same amount of effect to all 4 OSCs together?

2. Is the keyboard on this synth the same poor quality one that is found on the Prophet 12 or did they already improve it for this synth?

does the external input get routed through the character FX?
If OSC split is on, would the external input route through filter 1 or 2?

Only had a pro 2 briefly a few years ago so can’t speak to the first question.

Yes, it’s the same not-so-great keybed as the P12, which was a let-down.

The Character FX apply to the full signal path so it will affect both sets of oscillators.
