Some Videogame Audio Created With The Tempest

Some Videogame Audio Created With The Tempest

Hi,

I've just finished a bunch of retro-style game audio using the Tempest with a few other outboard fx. The Tempest is great for this type of work!

For anyone who's interested I wrote a blog post about it with some audio/visual clips here and there's a SoundCloud track with all the audio so far here.

cheers

Really impressed with some of those man,  not your standard fodder at all.   Some real creaminess in there ;)  Care to share?   Be happy to give up some of my patches in return!

Really nice stuff!  I work primarily in video game sound design and use the Tempest all the time.  The engine's flexibility is awesome for getting really varied and detailed sounds.

Very nice work, muleskinner. There are some dope sounds in there. Matches the game perfectly.

I've just wrapped up a ton of retro-style game audio using the Tempest along with some other outboard FX gear. Let me tell you, the Tempest is an absolute beast for this kind of work! It's like having a time machine that takes me straight back to the golden era of gaming.

And you know what? It's kinda like mastering the art of parking in Car Parking Multiplayer. Just like how I fine-tune every beat and sound effect in my retro-style game audio, in Car Parking Multiplayer, it's all about precision and finesse. Every move, every sound, has to be just right to nail that perfect parking spot. The Tempest is my trusty companion in this journey, just like my favorite car in the game. Together, we create magic, whether it's weaving through the pixelated streets of a retro game or smoothly sliding into a tight parking spot in the multiplayer world.
