Dividing ARP clock with external gear

Dividing ARP clock with external gear

While a clock division option in the firmware would be awesome, we do have an ARP jack on the back, giving us external options for creating clock variations for the arpeggiator.

Here’s what I’m thinking of doing. Let me know if you think there is a cheaper or better way haha:

- out of my DAW/E-RM multiclock into midi to CV
- CV clock into something like Pamela’s new workout
- Pam’s can then be configured to divide or multiply the clock to my desires.
- out of Pam’s into OB-X8 arp jack.

Update: after some manual diving, I found that the E-RM actually has a clock divider built in that I never knew about! Still considering something like Pam’s for flexibility and interoperability with other gear, but nice to know I already have an option!

Any updates on your progress with Pams? I'm hoping to run the OB-X8 through the Euro paces in the next few weeks. Specifically interested in how it gets on with the Expert Sleepers gear, and the 4ms clock related modules.

I'm bummed the OB-X8 doesn't have richer CV in/out options. I really am used to and spoiled by the Two Voice Pro's ample offerings in this area.
