Using a Mopho or a Tetra as a MIDI controller for program changes?

Will changing programs on a Mopho or Tetra tabletop synth also send program changes out via MIDI?
My Mopho SE and Pro 3 can do this, and they are excellent MIDI controllers for scrolling through patches on other synths and FX units. I am considering using a Mopho as a patch change controller, as most MIDI controllers - like the Akai MPKmini - cannot do this.
