Synth/Chillwave sound design on the Take 5?

Synth/Chillwave sound design on the Take 5?

Anyone have any tips for using the Take 5 with this genre?

I'm pretty new to it and still learning the ins and outs.  Curious if anyone had any ideas though.

Thanks

You may have to be a little more specific, as in giving some examples. In general, I'd say you can get a lot of VERY chillwave-type sounds, and also some more aggressive synthwave leads and things with hard sync & the FM button. The reverb's not bad, though I personally like running thru a Meris Mercury7 for the hugest reverberations. Also the Tape1 delay self-oscillates easily and is great for tripping the vibe out.

Thanks for the replies. I'll check out that soundset too.

Admittingly when I think of chillwave/synth I'm kind of thinking along the lines of stuff like the Electronic Gems channel on youtube.

I've recently found enjoyment in just kind of playing the synth without expectations and do find it can get some nice tones out of it for melodies/sound ideas by moving around some knobs and effects, etc.
