Arpeggiator midi transmit

When using the Prophet-X to transmit arpeggiator notes to midi out, there is this huge problem: Not only are the arpeggio notes transmitted, but also the keyboard notes on/off, resulting in both the played notes and the arpeggiated notes being played on the external synth. Is there a setting somewhere that I have overlooked  that only transmits arpeggiator notes to midi when arpeggiator is ON?

You would need to enable multimode, have the arpeggiator only on Layer 1 OR Layer 2 and then play the other layer manually.
