A recent attempt to update the firmware in my Prophet 10 keyboard has bricked it. Unfortunately, the described method of powering up with both wheels upward doesn’t appear to put it into boot loader mode, so I’m not sure what the next step is. The synth starts up and then the display reads 8. and that’s it. I have din midi and both the current firmware 2.02 plus I’ve seen the 2.04 here in the forum. Is there a different trick I could use to get the Prophet into boot loader mode? Maybe something I need to open it up for? Not sure how I’ve gotten into this situation, I’m guessing I power culycled the synth too quickly after sending the firmware sysex to it? Any help most appreciated. It seems like something I should be able to ta Kyle here at home base.
