Is this normal??

My synth came with a fair amount of Basic Program or Blank Preset slots.  OB8 bank has 3 banks of empty slots, OBXa - 4 banks, OB-SX - 9 banks, OB-X has 12 banks of Basic Program.

Are these slots intended for your own presets, or is my RAM messed up?  I can write to these slots fine.  I have done the Globals 29/35: Reset Prgm to Fact, and no change.  Can anyone advise me if this is normal?

Yup, the banks of the OB-X8 have 128 slots and are recreation of the original banks, except that the original  OB-X's memory only had 4 banks
