Keyboard shortcut to record Osc Freq into gated sequencer?

Is there any possible way to program the values of the gated sequencer by punching in keystrokes rather than twisting the encoder knob? Recording the poly sequencer does this and it's so much faster/easier to plug in sequences that way. I'd love to be able to quickly spin up a pitch frequency sequence in the gated sequencer in the same way, hoping I'm just missing a handy shortcut or something.

There is not such an option in the gated sequencer. It is one reason I hardly ever use it.

(Please someone correct me if I have been missing a trick to do this for 2.5 years owning the rev2)

Ugh yeah I was worried that might be the case. When you make the destination Osc Freq you can even see the note name when you put in the sequence with the encoder knob… feels like it’s so close to being doable but the knob input strategy is just a huge bummer!
