Why no slot for a 64gig memory card?
« on: June 15, 2022, 03:21:39 AM »
Seriously...

My old Wavestation has slot for a (two!*) memory card(s).

How is that not a standard thing yet?

I just need couple 4, or 64gig, memory card slots...

* one memory card for waveforms and one for Patches!

Here’s my take on it.

We all had synths with floppy disk drives in the 90s. Who uses floppy disks anymore? They’re hard to even find.

Your Wavestation used PCMCIA cards. Where do you get those now?

A synth shouldn’t have an expiration date, which is what an SD slot would be.
