Bob Gomez's YouTube channel has more Prophet 6 demonstrations than any other.  Some times he plays music, and other times he simply runs through programs.  He's very helpful in giving a sense of the tone and flexibility of the instrument.

This nearly went by unnoticed: the Sweetwater demo by Daniel Fisher.

And a demo that shows the nasty side of the Prophet (and gives the best taste of the weight of its sound - at least in my opinion):

Great demo track!

I wish I had the OB-6 a bit longer to do a track with mainly OB-6 but also some P-6 "additions". I am afraid they both are a perfect match. Curious to listen to your demo. ;-)

Many excellent sounds, Paul.

Thank you, Tim! The good thing is that it took me less than 4 days to do these, which is a testament to the Prophet-6's instant gratification - very easy to use. I also hope that I was able to demonstrate that pads are indeed possible with the Prophet-6 and that they don't show its weakness as I've read many times.

Yes, that would be a good direction to take - dark, warm, rich pads.

Paul, buddy, don't take these demos too seriously, as if you have to prove to me the Prophet 6 is a great instrument.  I already know it is.  You like the instrument - that's all that matters.  Enjoy it and post what you can.  But I don't want to be a pain in the neck about it.   :-[

Paul,

Thanks for sharing & shining some lovely Prophet~6 light, love & vibes our way. Some really wonderful sounds you've got going on there  8)

It's 100% true about the instant gratification aspect & it Kind of re-affirms my stance on the Sequential Prophet~6: The only way they'll ever take my beloved P~6 off me is if they surgically remove it from my cold dead hands!  :)

Cheers.
