Prophet 6 buttons not working correctly

It has been a couple months since I played my P6. I turned it on yesterday and immediately noticed that all the program select buttons as well as the bank selects are behaving strangely. For program buttons, I have to press the buttons very hard to get them to work. If I try to bank select and increment patches, it can give me random behavior where nothing happens or the patches jump around randomly. I rebooted the machine several times, but it had no effect.

Just to answer any of the usual questions, this keyboard has not moved from. Its very clean and temperature controlled space since the last time I used it. I am also running operating system 1.6.7. None of this has ever happened in the past.

I did a lot of button pushes and I’ve also used the synth extensively since my first post, and the problem seems to have gone away. I guess it was just from lack of use. Thanks for your help.
