Filter Pedal Question

Filter Pedal Question

I am really enjoying my brand new Prophet 10. When I plug a filter pedal into the Prophet 10, it seems to change the filter cutoff even when I am not actively using it, which makes it harder to audition patches. Am I doing something wrong, or overlooking a setting that would resolve this? Thanks!

Expression pedals has a minimum and maximum value between 0-127. If the minimum value is more than 0 it will be a change. Many pedals are possible to set that range but not all and donít know if they are full range 0-127 or an initial low value somewhere.

Thanks AP - so it sounds like I should keep the pedal all the way "back" when I'm not using it. In theory that means the pedal is at "0" and is not affecting my patches while I'm auditioning them. But some pedals may send a value higher than 0 even when it is back all the way, and this may brighten the patches a little while I'm auditioning them. Do I understand your point correctly?
