Banks and Presets - Any Logic to the Order?

Was just wondering if anyone knew if there was a logic to the way banks and presets are ordered?

Are presets spread somewhat randomly over the 5 banks? Or is there an organizing factor at play?

1 comes first, then 2, followed by 3... There's a pattern.


Just joking... The "basses", for example, don't seem to have their own bank.  If there is a method to the madness, it is well hidden.
