Maybe check online or on Reverb?  I don't know if anyone makes wood cheeks for the Take 5 specifically, but something could be custom made.  The issue is mounting... the plastic cheeks hook into slots in the top panel and are screwed in to the bottom panel underneath, so wood cheeks would need some kind of custom mount, probably recessed so there's no gap on top.

Contact SynthWolf on this forum.  He does this sort of work.

nothing on reverb, but i'm sure they will pop up once the synth gets established in the eco-system.

i would ask someone for a custom work, but i'd rather get them from a seller who makes batches so i can see pictures first and possibly cheaper this way. Thanks, i'll just be patient i think, this synth is still relatively new.

See this thread, seems the guy might even make a complimentary set if you happen to be the first person to mail him the side panels for that particular model. Seems like it’s worth dropping him a line. His work is fantastic, as evidenced by the pictures and links in the post.

Hey all! I run a small shop https://synthcraft.co and we just added walnut wood cheeks to our shop. I think it makes the Take 5 look so damn good.

Here's the direct link to the Take 5 cheeks:

For people in Europe there is a guy from Germany who is also doing woodwork for synths and other studio gear:

He recently made walnut cheeks for my Take 5.

Cool! Any chance you could post a photo of the inside edge of the cheek, where it meets the synth? The OEM cheeks are inset and I'm curious if any aftermarket cheeks are also inset.

I hope you are able to see this link here to Instagram:

The cheeks are fixed with double sided adhesive tape.

Are you able to add clips to the top of the panels like how the plastic ones are set up? If not, how sturdy are they with just the bottom screws alone?
