Pro 3 Serial Number

Just looked at my Pro 3 SE and noticed that, despite having just purchased it, the serial number is under 1000.  (00862, to be exact.)  The unit is experiencing issues, and I'm preparing to send it back.  Just curious if anyone here has a fairly recent unit (say, within the past year) that is substantially higher.  It just seemed odd to me that a 3 week old unit would have a serial number under 1000.

Mine is 105x, bought end of 2021. Given all of the shipping logistics issues, I wouldn't be surprised if yours weren't just in limbo somewhere. Or the store just had it a while. Either way, I'd contact support about the issue.

I had all in all three Pro 3 that all went back to the dealer because of various problems:

1st unit: Standard Edition (serial no. 01767): weird USB problems, the synth was not recognized via USB cable in MIDI-OX or in my DAW. Connected via 5-pole MIDI cable everything was OK. Also I could not do a firmware update at first, later it worked with unchanged settings.
2nd device: Special Edition (serial no. 01080): flickering of the LEDs in the filter section immediately after switching on when turning the cutoff knob.
3rd unit: Special Edition (serial no. 01079): the same as 01080

Now I have a TAKE5 that runs absolutely flawlessly right from the start.

Hi - my SE is 0084* and it was one in a few with close serial numbers that had issues (all from the same UK retailer) - contacted the Sequential support and they sent a new circuit board - its been rock solid since.

Hi, I bought mine in February, and so far I haven't had a single symptom of anything, everything is going perfect, my unit is the 127* almost the 1300 and it is going very well solid as a rock. Very happy with it

Anybody know what number they started with?
For the original "Pro 3" I mean.
...I suspect the Pro 3 SE starts from somewhere else? (Different zero point?)

Sorry to resurrect such an old thread but what were the issues? Mine is number 43 and wondered if my reset button fault falls into the same batch issue?
