Tempest as External Sequencer, can't get note repeat // roll to work

Hi,

Im trying out the Tempest as an external sequencer.
I manage to get the pads to trigger an external synth. The problem is when using the roll/arp function, I cant get it to sequence the synth. Im i doing something wrong or is this a bug?

Those do not trigger additional MIDI notes, they exist only as program functions in the Tempest, not as MIDI controller functions
