Take 5 as a soft synth controller

Hello
I'm seriously considering a Take 5 in the new year. Besides wanting one for it's fantastic sounds, I'm wondering if it can be used as a keyboard controller for the wide range of soft synths I have. Can anyone advise? Thanks

As long as your software synths have a way to map MIDI CC or NRPN to parameters, it should work. Sequential synths usually send MIDI CC/NRPN messages for each control. Take a look at the Take 5 MIDI Implementation charts in the Take 5
Support section
to see the various Take 5 parameters.
