Init Patch is panning from left to right?

Hey guys,

I have noticed something, and I don't know if it's a bug or a feature... Also, this is my first actual hardware synth, so bear with me if this is something that is to be expected..?

Basically, when I load up the "Basic Program" Init patch, it keeps panning slightly from left to right? Not when I just play and hold one note, but when i repeatedly play notes, every note seems to be slightly somewhere else in the stereo field. It's not a lot, but enough to be noticed on headphones.

Is this normal behavior?

My understanding is that there is a tolerance between the VCAs that can range from 1-3dB in the P12. This could be what you're seeing?

Yeah, I guessed that it was somehow related to the analog circuit, it just seemed weird to me that it resulted in different panning... 🤔
