Hi everyone -

I'm new to the Tempest, hope this is the correct place to post.

I'm having an issue with an abrasive high pitched noise being triggered on multiple pads...

The only thing that seems to have worked is resetting system parameters and then saving that as a start template project file.

Thanks so much,
Dave

Perhaps this reply comes too late, but it sounds to me like the compressor level was maxed on the beat or project that you were using -- which can be saved either globally per project or per beat -- and that resetting the system parameters simply set the default compressor level back to zero.

Cheers!

Thanks no, definitely not the compressor.

We found a post that describes the problem but unfortunately the suggested fixes didn't help.

Appreciate it tho!

Have you got any cables plugged in apart from the main outs?

Nothing plugged in aside from headphones and power. I tried the main outs and same issue.

I actually ended up sending this one back and bought another, so I'm still in the Tempest family!

Thanks for the suggestions.

Glad you shorted it out!
