Sequencer doesn't record mod wheel or pitch bend?

Sequencer doesn't record mod wheel or pitch bend?

Live recording using either of these doesn't work, and I don't see it as a target in the sequencer track's drop down list.

Can you all confirm this?  Seems like a no brainer feature to add.  Even my Minilogue does this, although its architecture is much simpler.

This was also one of the first things I wondered about. You can modulate the destinations the mod wheel is assigned to, but not the wheel itself. This is also one feature request, that was mentioned a couple of time. Regarding Pitch Bend you could switch slew on, but it is of course not the same and applies to all notes.

I looked it up, and actually the monologue's slider destinations are very comprehensive.   There's 29 of them! Although only one at a time can be set.  Surely if the humble minilogue can handle this, Sequential can make it happen.

I think the Pro 3 sequencer's steps are too coarse to make controller automation useful. I agree with the existing approach, which is to sequence destinations, and let controllers be controllers in performance.

Nothing stops you from sequencing whatever the mod wheel is assigned to, and there's no real-time record anyway to take advantage of such a thing.

I think it's probably the other way around. The Minilogue does it because the architecture is much simpler. On the Pro-3 the mod wheel can be routed to 33 things at the same time. While it may technically be possible to handle that, it's quite likely more processing intensive and not as straightforward as recording the Monologue's wheel with just one destination.

Maybe make a request for a feature. But for me, it's not been an issue using the method #chysn described.
