Synthet - new universal editor for DSI synths

Hi,

My name is Alexey, and I'm founder of codeknobs.com project and VST editors for Tetra and Mopho. I'm working on new project "Synthet", this is unversal standalone editor for most DSI synthesizers. Synthet will have the following features:

  • full communication and reflection between editor and synthesizer
  • multi instance – ability to work with several patches at same time.
  • support up to 4 midi controllers with “learn” feature
  • support OSC, ability to control synthesizers from tablets app like TouchOSC and etc.
  • powerful Program manager for cataloging patches by tags, import and export patches
  • VST bridge – external plugin that implements communicating DAW with editor for parameters automation and saving patches(programs) into DAW project.

I plan to release it on OSX and Windows platforms.

At the moment, many of the features have already been implemented. And the project is coming to BETA development state. Because I do not have the entire fleet of synthesizers DSI I'm looking for people who can help me with testing of specific models of synthesizers.

Currently supported models:
  • Tetra
  • Mopho (Desktop, X4, Keyboard)
  • Prophet 08

If you own one of these models, and you have a little time to spare and a desire to help write me please at mail@codeknobs.com. Do not forget to specify which synthesizer you have, and short describe your setup (midi/audio interface, DAW and etc). Currently looking for owners of PC and Windows platforms.

Thank you!
