Panning hard left/right

Panning hard left/right

I just asked posted the following to support but thought I may get an answer quicker here!

I am trying to hard pan both parts in layered mode using the DC modulation source with no luck.
Even an init patch using just one part, and with DC mod to Pan at -127, each voice / key press alternates between hard left and hard right.  I would expect to only hear the left channel?  By the way, Pan Spread is at 0.

Go to misc parameters and set pan mode to "fixed" instead of "alternate".

As Pl@ton, mentioned, your issue is most likely the pan mode on each layer needs to be set to FIXED.

Also, FYI:    +32 value is hard right, -32 is hard left... DC modulation beyond that doesn't do anything additional.  It's a good idea to get in the habit of using those values, so if you want to back off the hard panning a bit, you'll be in the right value area.

Thanks everyone.  I had completely missed that parameter before.
