Tempest USB out to drive Korg SQ1? (Power and clock/start stop ect)

Hi all,

Is it possible for the Tempest USB out to power the Korg SQ1 step sequencer and also send clock/start/stop messages?

Tempest in my setup is the master clock and drives multiple midi outs and another analogue sequencer.(MFB Urzwerg II)

I am a firm believer in trying out for myself but as the Tempest is not small change I am hoping someone can confirm this will be ok?

Tempest can send clock/start/stop messages but cannot power the SQ1

Thanks for the quick reply.

That's a shame, although I may use one of the tempest outputs to send a trigger to advance the sequence on the sq1 or find a spare clock signal from my setup and power it with a power to usb converter.
