Split Keyboard Midi Output

With the new split keyboard capabilities, does anyone know if the midi out of the P10 will allow for layer B notes being sent out via midi on the layer A midi channel +1? It's not mentioned in the manual addendum. This would open a lot of live applications for me.

For Example
10 voice mono-timbral mode -> Midi Out Ch1
5 & 5 stacked mode -> Midi Out Ch1 + Ch2 Simultaneous
5 & 5 split mode -> Midi Out Ch1-Layer A + Ch2-Layer B

for what i know, the midi channel is the same regardless to the mono or multitimbral mode
