Arpeggiator Scratchpad? @Pym

Any reason why the Prophet 12's arpeggiator scratchpad wasn't ported over for the PX? It sounds really creative to be able to customize your own arpeggio patterns. Any possible way this could be a feature in the next firmware?

No specific reason I can remember but we always limit the feature set as we make new instruments. We did a lot of new things on the PX and wanted to focus on what made it special. That was a huge undertaking for a lot of reasons, all sorts of new tech. I'll put that on our feature request list for the future but I don't think we'll add anything like that on the PX

The P12 Arp is an absolute treat of a feature.  I think the Prophet 12 module is going to be one of those highly sought-after synths in the future used market, unless a successor that blows it away comes along.  I only limit that to the module because I've heard things about the keyboard that weren't great (I haven't actually played a P12k).  The lower knob count on the desktop does not feel limiting in any way.
Prophet 10, OB-X8m, Prophet 6, OB-6, 3rd Wave, Prophet 12m, Prophet Rev2-16, Toraiz AS-1, Pro 2, Virus TI2, Moog SlimPhatty, Hydrasynth desktop, Korg Minilogue XDm, Roland JP-8080, Roland System-8, Roland SPD-SX SE / Octapad, Maschine, Cubase/Ableton/Akai MPC

Yep. You can see how I'm looking into arp/sequencer integration in the Pro3. There's a lot of crossover with how that's done, it's just reorganizing the way things are grouped together. So many ways to do it, all with creative potential, but easy to go down that rabbit hole if it isn't done intentionally. We'll keep exploring possibilities!!

That's a major shame seeing as you can't transpose the sequencer on the fly without holding the "REC" button, a customized arpeggiator would really be beneficial in terms of a two handed performance.
