Audio-rate modulation sources?

Audio-rate modulation sources?
« on: August 25, 2021, 06:25:45 AM »
Hello,
User manual Appendix A lists OSC2, NOISE, FILTER OUT and AUDIO OUT as modulation sources.
Does it mean audio-rate modulations?
How is it technically done, are these analog sources sampled?
Thanks

for me filter out and audio out had no effect on anything... osc2 is an audio rate modulation, but its volume needs to be up to have any effect - so at least for me, it is also hard to find a use for it. but maybe I do something wrong - pretty new to this synth... (which, besides of this quirks, I think is amazing)

i have to take that back. it is working, I just used them on the wrong destinations...
they both work great as a feedback loop.

You can use the "Osc2" Modulation Source in conjunction with the "FM" Mode. If you engage the FM Button, then use Osc2 to modulate, the Osc1 fine, shape, octave, or the filter cutoff, you will notice a difference. you can use the osc 2 level in the mixer to increase fm depth from osc2 and also obviously use the depth in the mod matrix
