Can "Footswitch Sequencer" take a Trigger Out from a drum machine?

Hello,

Can the "Footswitch Sequencer" input take a Trigger Out from a drum machine, in my case, a Roland TR-8S, to run the sequencer?

What is the voltage range (as an audio signal) to trigger the sequencer step?  Is there any danger I might send a signal that is too hot and damage the Prophet 6?

I'll answer my own question as i have now found out.

Yes, you can.  You need to ensure Global 2 - 1 is set to "TRI" rather than "NOR".
