Can 16 Voice Rev-2 Demo 8 Voice?

I can't stretch to a 16 voice but concerned about voice stealing on stacked patches. Can the 16 voice synth be put into a "demo" 8 voice mode from the front panel? Can't imagine the store will be willing to temporarily remove the 8 voice daughter board.

As far as I know, there is no such setting. For testing voice stealing in non-stacked mode, you could simply connect both outputs A LR and B LR and use a layer split patch. Listening to either output (A or B), you will hear the 8 voices played by the relevant layer. But that is not what you want, since you explicitly wrote you want to test a stacked patch.
