Bender and mod wheels sticky

Bender and mod wheels sticky

I’ve had my Rev2 since they first came out and it works perfectly.
But today I noticed the bender and mod wheels are sticky to the touch. I’ve used no solvents or anything to clean them, this appears to be happening on their own. They function properly, but are tacky like the rubber coating is disintegrating.
Is this a part that can be replaced under warranty?  I haven’t even heard of this sort of thing happening with any of the DSI stuff. I have a pretty large collection of synths and the only time I’ve ever experienced anything like this is with the side panels of a Moog little Phatty.

You're not alone. See this post on the Prophet 12 forum: https://forum.sequential.com/index.php/topic,4628.0.html

I keep meaning to get in touch with Sequential support to see if I could buy a set of replacement wheels; I just haven't got round to it yet.
