Midi Mod Wheel

Hi!

when I route the Mod wheel from my external keyboard (via Modulations menu)
to Osc All Freq, everything works fine (attachment "Modulations").

When I route the Mod wheel from my external keyboard (via Note FX assign)
to Osc All Freq, nothing happens (attachment "Note FX").

Is this normal? Why is the Mod Wheel a source in the Note FX assign menu?
Am I doing something wrong?

My goal is to record Mod Wheel changes in the sequencer (via Note FX, because it's not possible via Mod Paths).

This is a complete guess but have you tried sending the modwheel data via the midi channel set for 'polyphonic synth play' as well as the midi channel set for the pads?

Also check you have the slider buttons set correctly, ie set for playback if you're trying to change the pitch whilst the sequencer is running.

I have never tried modwheel as a source here though so can't say for definite whether it actually works!

but I tried the polyphonic channel also.
And the note fx playback switches don’t make any difference neither.

Can somebody help me with this?
