Keep the arpeggiator running with sustain ... or ?

Keep the arpeggiator running with sustain ... or ?

Sorry noob question here ...

There are some really cool arpeggiator capabilities built into many, many of the presets and it gives me great ideas for exploiting them ... but the arpeggiator stops when you release the key. The sustain pedal will carry the base tone, but not the arpeggiator. This thing has some really complex routing, so I'm wondering if there is a way to keep the arpeggiator running with the sustain pedal, or is that outside of the processing model ??

The is a setting in the Globals menu where you can change the sustain pedal functionallity.

Sustain Pedal Function -> Arp On/Off.

You can read more about it on page 10 in the Operation Manual.

An alternative is to engage the 'Hold' button.

With the P12 being new to me, I will say the arpeggiator's above average capability was nice surprise.   P12 has "scratch pad" feature to edit.  Almost approaching a sequencer or sorts  :)
