Free Sysex Librarian KnobKraft Orm now supporting Prophet X

Hi friends,

I have posted in other forums, but as not everybody is reading all forums but probably only those for the synths owned, some Prophet X users might have missed out.

I made a beta implementation for supporting the Prophet X in the KnobKraft Orm, a free open source sysex librarian I am developing.

Would be interested in feedback from Prophet X owners, as I sadly don't have one ;-)

As the DSI/Sequential synths are generally very similar in their MIDI implementation, and I own Prophet Rev2 and OB6 which work nicely with my software, I don't expect big problems. We have succesfully added Pro 3 and Prophet 5 Rev4 already with help from the community.

Just being able to see and tag and favourite the patches without any fuss—brilliant!

I seem to have lost the ability to play from a master keyboard now—that dow work be fore with the 5.

Challenge accepted, the OB8 seems to be quite simple to do, though it would be good if the adaptation would work both with the factory MIDI kit as well as the Encore MIDI. I need to think about this a bit.

Just wanted to let you know I released version 1.10.4 yesterday night, with an implementation for the OB-8. This is really a shot in the dark as I don't know how the synth react in respect to timing. If you have any feedback, let's take that over to Github or PM me here!

Is anyone else using knobkraft with the PX?
I've run into a strange issue and wonder if it's just me. I was able to dump all the banks once I'd set the midi channel to All.
However, when selecting a single patch, it gets sent to the PX not only to the buffer but to all banks and programs memory locations. Also the midi volume is set to zero.
Does anyone know how I can restore all the programs back?

We solved the problem - it was a matter of wrong local off/global configuration, and had nothing to do the with KnobKraft software ;-)
