Headphone output impedance

Headphone output impedance

Hello everyone,

just got my P5 r4 and I have no words - I am just happy and in wonderland.

But one question I have in regards the phones output. Does enyone know what impedance the HP amp in the P5 has?

My old trusty HD-25 have clipping if I go over 2 on the Vol knob.

Many thanks in advance.

EDIT: I also tried other HPs (all under 50 ohm) and the do the same.

just found a post about it on gearspace:
---
From looking at the components on the board:

Audio out: 600 ohms
Headphone out: 100 ohms
---

That I guess explains why my HPs with lower ohm do clip - even the HD which has 70 ohm...

Nice find! I’ve always wondered the same with a pair of Sony MDR 7506 (60 ohm)
