Do i need a audio interface whit midi?

Hi i've jus bought a P-6 and i'm not shure if i need a new audio interfase whit midiconnection to make it work in logic pro x?
Can i just use the usb and use the P-6 as a softwareinstrument in Logic?

As you can see i'm new to this,thankful for every help!

You will need an audio interface to be able to record the audio from the Prophet 6. You can send/receive midi using only the USB cable plugged directly into the computer (assuming it has the correct drivers), but that effectively limits the Prophet to being a midi controller keyboard.

If I understand your question correctly - you can buy an audio interface that does not have its own MIDI ports and simply use a USB port on your PC to receive the MIDI signals via the P6’s USB output.
