How to empty sequencer or stop it from triggering

How to empty sequencer or stop it from triggering
« on: September 19, 2020, 11:25:32 AM »
I have my Rev2 hooked up to a midi sequencer. When I start the sequencer, the Rev2's own sequencer starts. While it could be fun in some contexts to have one sequencer trigger another, I don't want that in this case. Short of editing every step in the Rev2 sequencer to erase it, is there some easy simple way to either (a) prevent the Rev2 sequencer from triggering (without editing settings in the other sequencer) or (b) erase all steps at once in the Rev2 sequencer (don't know if should call this a 'reset' or emptying the sequencer or what), so that, if it triggers, nothing happens.

Sorry if I'm missing something obvious here...

In the Globals, there is a setting.   Off top of my head I don't remember the exact name but its something like:

MIDI Clock Mode:  MIDI Slave No S/S      (response to MIDI clock timing, but doesn't respond to Start/Stop transport message)

OB-X8, Pro 3, P6, Rev2, Take 5, 3rd Wave, Deepmind, PolyBrute, Sub 37

Thank you! That's exactly it. For the future reference of anyone reading this thread - it's Global setting 4 - Midi Clock Mode - change value to Slave No S/S.
