What reason is there to disable certain controllers when in the system menu?

I don't care about the synth controls that much, but could the octave shift buttons and wheels be working normally please?

I would like to use PRO 3 to regularly play other synths as well, which is best done by being in the MIDI system menu, so that I can change MIDI channel to the target synth. However it's a PITA that I must exist the menu if I need to shift keyboard octave.

While previously recorded notes are being played back, I would like to be able to record parameters using the touch slider.
To do this, I would like to select the track to be recorded and rhythmically play the parameter (e.g., cutoff) while holding down the record button.

A global setting / preference to require the push of a button before loading a program.

It is SUPER FRUSTRATING that hours of work fine-tuning a new sound can be lost as soon as the knobs for Bank or Program are accidentally touched.

And even in normal use it feels a bit jarring to see the synth trying to respond and load every single program from 1 through 128 when I am scrolling quickly to reach the one I wanted.

It is not a setting I would want to have by default: normally I like instant load – but it is way too easy to load a program while trying to turn another knob on the front panel. PLEASE.

ADJUSTMENTS:
- Merge FX1 + FX2 type & amount pages together onto a single page. Then following is already present behavior - Pressing SHOW EFFECTS shows this new merged page. Pressing SHOW EFFECTS + EFFECT 1 opens Effect 1 Params menu, similarly for effect 2.

Additionally, Effect 1/2 buttons should only on/off effects and NOT change display. So that is is possible to use them as performance buttons, while simultaneously adjusting effect parameters / amounts.
