So I have both, the Prophet 6 and the OB-6. Since last week I expanded my repertoire with this beauty Prophet X. Unfortunatly I can't set my PX correcly so that it communicates with Ableton the way I am used to (with the OB6 and P6).
The way I work in Ableton is as follows:
1. Set up an External Instrument and assign the correct audio and midi channels, in this case I have set Ableton to send to the PX via USB on midi channel 10. Both Ableton and PX are set to communicate on channel 10;
2. Local control set to of (key/Wheels of) but also in local control on state, no respond from the PX.
Am I forgetting something? I like to draw in envelopes etc in live to send them to my synths so this has to work somehow:0
